India take on Sri Lanka in the semi-final of the Asian Games 2026 at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin. Both teams advanced to the last four without playing a single ball.
India and Sri Lanka were among the four seeded teams in the tournament and entered directly into the quarter-finals. However, all four quarter-finals in Nisshin were washed out without a ball being bowled, sending the four seeded sides straight through to the semi-finals.
Pakistan have already booked their place in the men’s cricket gold-medal match after defeating Bangladesh by six wickets in the first semi-final in Nisshin, Japan.
