Tilak Varma will lead a strong India A side at the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026, with Abhishek Sharma and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi among the 15 players named for the tournament on Monday.
The continental event will be held in Doha from November 19 to 29, with India A placed in Group B alongside Pakistan A, Nepal and the UAE. India A will have to finish among the top two teams in their group to progress to the semifinals. Group A features Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Sri Lanka A. The semifinals are scheduled for November 26 and 27, with the final set to be played on November 29.
The team will be aiming to bounce back from their semifinal exit in the previous edition, where they lost to Bangladesh A in a Super Over under the leadership of Jitesh Sharma.
