Chile: Cosplayers and families gathered in Santiago on Saturday for the city’s annual zombie walk, transforming downtown streets into a Halloween celebration showcasing creativity and costume design.

Participants said the event provides a family-friendly space where people can express themselves freely through elaborate zombie costumes and props.

Fernando Monserrat, who dressed as the protagonist of HBO’s 'The Last of Us', said he was impressed by the variety of homemade zombie costumes on display.

Carla Leon highlighted the event’s inclusive atmosphere, saying it welcomes people from all backgrounds to come together and celebrate their creativity.

The zombie walk phenomenon began in Sacramento, California, in 2001. Since then, the event has spread to major cities around the world, including New York, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Singapore, São Paulo, and Frankfurt.
