Los Angeles: Actor Jenna Ortega said she plans to step away from acting in television series after the conclusion of "Wednesday".
Ortega, who had her acting debut with CBS sitcom "Rob" in 2012, has recently wrapped shooting for "Wednesday 3" and wants to explore film offers rather than focusing on the series.
The actor recently spoke to Vogue Magazine and said she doesn't even check the reviews of her films and isn't bothered about the box office numbers. "I think after 'Wednesday', I’ll probably be off the TV for a while," she said.
"It (reviews and box office numbers) would send me into a psychosis of some sort because I don’t want it to become a numbers thing," she added.
The actor also said she has tried to stay away from social media because so much of the content is nothing but AI. "So much of what you see on there nowadays is just garbage AI, and we all look at ourselves too much," she added.

"Wednesday" season 1 released in 2022 and emerged as Netflix's most popular English-language series of all time at over 252 million views, according to the Netflix Tudum Top 10.

The following season released in 2025 on Netflix and followed Addams as she returns to Nevermore Academy following the chaotic events of the first semester.
She then navigates the school as an overnight campus celebrity rather than a social outcast; she faces a wave of supernatural threats, secrets, and a deadly personal stalker. Ortega reprised her role in the series, which also emerged as No. 1 in 91 countries after the release.
The third season will revolve around Wednesday Addams as she steps into her senior year at Nevermore Academy. There is no information about the release date of the series.
