New Delhi: The protest seeking removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has entered another stage in India as the Congress-led Opposition decided to march to the Supreme Court on Monday. Though Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge announced plans to meet the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant to raise the issue of Vote Chori, it is learnt that the CJI denied permission for the meeting.

While declining to meet the leaders, the CJI asserted that similar matters are sub judice in the Supreme Court, sources said.

Meanwhile, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) accused the Delhi police of keeping several key leaders under detention since October 10. The police had detained thousands of people in a bid to block the CJP's protest at Jantar Mantar.
