New Delhi: Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday urged all those who are going to participate in the 'Chalo Dilli' rally on November 1 at Ramlila Maidan to support the local traders present.

"It is the festive season. The time of Diwali, Chhath, and Bhai Dooj has arrived. I want those lakhs of people coming to Delhi from outside to support the traders here," Gandhi wrote in a post on X.

Gandhi affirmed that the rally will not harm the traders and alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was spreading rumours regarding the same.

"I know the rally will not harm the traders. The BJP is scared, that's why it's spreading rumors," the Congress leader said.
