Kochi: Actor Imran Khan has tendered an unconditional apology before the Bombay High Court and given an undertaking that he will not participate in any protests in the future.

The development comes after the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) issued a notice directing the actor to leave India by October 28 over his participation in a protest.

The direction has been kept in abeyance for now.

The Bombay High Court will hear Khan’s plea challenging the notice on 7 December 2026.
