"Now we're looking at Pickaxe Mountain. We may have to go there. We'll take a shot at that one. We'll knock it out fast," Trump said during an interview at the White House.
Trump said the U.S. had already caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear infrastructure. However, he warned that if Washington withdrew before fully eliminating the possibility of Iran developing nuclear weapons, it might have to launch another military operation in the future.
The president also expressed confidence that the conflict with Iran would end soon, adding that Tehran was currently engaged in negotiations with Washington.
Situated near the Natanz enrichment facility in Isfahan Province in central Iran, Pickaxe Mountain is regarded as one of the country's most heavily fortified underground nuclear sites.
Trump has repeatedly threatened to target the facility. Iran, however, has maintained that the site is empty and claimed that any U.S. attempt to attack it would fail.
