An internet clip of Sonam Wangchuk’s Josh Talks is going viral after the latest uproar of Aamir Khan’s claim of not knowing Wangchuk before his film 3 idiots, which is alleged to be loosely associated with the former’s life story. During the special screening of his evergreen film 'Lagaan' in London, a spectator asked Aamir about 3 idiots and the film being based on Wangchuk during the Q&A session, to which he immediately rectified by saying the statement is false. “I didn’t know Mr Sonam at the time we were doing the film,” said Khan. He also said Wangchuk himself has denied the rumours and even acknowledged the video of Omi Vaidya who portrayed the character of ‘Chatur Ramalingam’ in the film. In the video shared recently on his Instagram showing his support for Sonam Wangchuk and his hunger strike, Vaidya said “I don’t want Rancho to die”, hinting Wangchuk as the main character of the film to which Khan jokingly said he was wrong in his statement.

The video went viral after netizens took to the internet to show strong condemnation against the actor. The video of Wangchuk talking about meeting Khan before the film in the ‘Josh Talks’ video is the latest development among the haywire. During the talk, Wangchuk shows a clip of him receiving an award in Mumbai where Khan is seen sitting in the audience. In the acceptance speech, he also talked about Khan’s film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and his great admiration of the work. Wangchuk also spoke about talking with Aamir after the event. Later in the video, he mentions about the 3 idiots team arriving at his school in Ladakh for the film shooting when he was not present and the administration denying the shoot due to the crew not disclosing much information about the project and also fearing the waste accumulation which can generate after the shooting is complete.

Moreover, the latest clip completely differs from the actor’s statement of not knowing Wangchuk. Khan has not replied to the latest controversy yet.

Sonam Wangchuk is currently in an agitation alongside Cockroach Janta Party demanding justice for this year’s NEET UG student deaths which is allegedly said to be   because of the exam paper leak. He joined the protest on June 28 and has been on an indefinite fast since then. When asked about his point of view on the protest, Khan expressed his wish for Wangchuk to stop the hunger strike taking in consideration of his health. “All of us are very concerned for his health and his life and we hope he ends his fast and looks after his health”, said the actor.
