Russia reported Monday that its forces had shot down 405 Ukrainian drones, while Ukraine said on the same day that it had hit Russian ammunition depots, logistics warehouses and other targets.
Russian forces conducted overnight strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises and other facilities in Kiev and the surrounding region, the Russian Defense Ministry said Monday.
In Kiev, the targets included Datagroup's data processing center and a Fire Point logistics hub used to produce and store components for long range attack drones along with engines for FP 5 Flamingo cruise missiles. Additionally, strikes hit the Khimvolokno factory, which produced components for drone warheads, and the Kiev locomotive depot, which was used to store FP 5 Flamingo cruise missiles and components for FP 9 ballistic missile.
In the Kiev Region, the Planeta Plastik plant in Irpin, which produced polymer materials for the military-industrial sector, was also hit, according to the ministry.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said that its forces had struck a dry cargo vessel carrying military and dual-use cargo while it was sailing 130 km southwest of the port of Odesa.
The ministry also reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces had taken control of one settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, Russian forces struck targets including temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries, various types of Ukrainian military vehicles, artillery and electronic warfare stations as well as assembly plants, storage facilities and launch sites for Ukrainian long-range drones, the ministry said.
Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 405 Ukrainian drones, it said.
On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between Sunday night and Monday morning, Ukrainian forces struck a radar base in Russia's Bryansk Oblast, targeted Russian artillery and drone positions in the Kharkiv region and struck Russian ammunition depots, logistics warehouses and other targets in the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that Ukraine received no early warning from its partners about the latest Russian attack on Kiev.
According to Zelensky, Russian forces launched 16 ballistic missiles at energy and infrastructure facilities in Kiev and its surrounding region overnight. The strikes also damaged a clinic, a school, a metro station and residential buildings.
One person was killed and eight others were injured in the attack, the Kiev City Military Administration said.
Russia also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered drones, in attacks across Ukraine. The attacks damaged more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities and left at least 550,000 households without electricity.
In addition, Zelensky said on Monday that in certain sections of the front lines, the Starlink and Starshield satellite communication systems would stop working under certain conditions, affecting frontline logistics and the operation of various drones.
Recently, tensions between the US and Ukraine have continued to escalate.
In an interview with US media Sunday, Zelensky said that following a period of interruption, the US had resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine regarding Russian attacks. However, the Starshield satellite communication system used by Ukraine continued to face speed limitations.
Starshield was developed by SpaceX specifically for government and national security clients and is regarded as a militarized version of SpaceX's Starlink satellite communication system.
The Ukrainian military relies heavily on the Starshield system on the battlefield.
US Secretary of State Rubio previously stated that Starshield was a defense product used by the US military and that the Ukrainian military had never received Starshield services.
